| I can’t really claim, but I think that creation of the world trade organization was somehow connected to general agreement on tariffs and trade. I told that to my brother who is studying law and he told me not to talk nonsense. I would like you to confirm that I was wrong, so that I can start questioning my own memory. This time I am really sure that I was right, unlike in several other occasions. |

| World trade organization was created during editing and adding another set of changes into general agreement on tariffs and trade, it all happened in 1993. or 1994. so it looks like there is, actually, a strong connection. Your brother was kidding with you, most probably. Those countries, who were existing members of the general agreement on tariffs and trade, were the ones who found the original world trade organization. |
