Getting a Saving Account For 6 Months

| Is it possible to obtain a saving account for six months? I would like to put my money for that period of time and to pick up interest and try to do something smart with it. Actually, I am interested to see if money will grow a little bit during six months period. |

| As far as I know for that period of time it is possible to invest in CDs (certificate of deposit). This account is six months penalty free with 3.54% interest rate and no penalties for withdrawals if $500 minimum balance is maintained for the amount of $250 minimum and at least seven days from the date of the last transaction. |
