I finally decide not to keep my money with me, but to invest it. Im not a brave person, a person that would easily take risks which is the main reason I dont have even a savings account. Now, Im planning to deposit some money in an investment or mutual fund. Please, tell me if this is right and which funds are the best.

Of course this is right. I never knew a person that holds its money at home until now. I cant believe you dont have a savings account. Risks are all around us. What would you do if someone stole your money, if your house burnt in a fire or something else happened you cant control? But luckily, you changed your mind and decided to enlarge your money. Investment or mutual funds are the best solution for people like you. Professionals, actually, portfolio managers are taking care to lessen the risk by diversification of investments. This way, you cant lose much but you could gain a lot. As for the best fund, I cant really tell you, because I invest my money myself. By the way, term mutual fund is more common than investment fund.
