Homeowner insurance-is it the same thing as hazard insurance?

| Hello, I need your help with homeowner insurance-is it the same thing as hazard insurance? I was arguing about it with my friend but I was unable to explain to him that this is true. At the end of our conversation I did not know what to think about it. Can you please explain this to me? Thank you all. |

| Hi, first of all I would like to y that you should not back up in this conversation. You were right from the beginning. You should not allow your friend to convince you otherwise. Homeowner insurance and hazard insurance is the same thing. This type of insurance is often called home insurance as well. |

| Yes, hazard insurance is the same thing as the homeowner insurance. Basically this is the type of property insurance that covers private homes. This topic is widely covered on the internet and you can find plenty of information without any trouble. If you are interested in the prices you can visit a website of some insurance company and check the cost of this insurance. |
