I have worked hard for the pest several years. During that time, I managed to save enough money to invest in a business. Since my wife knows pretty much about clothes, we were thinking of starting a clothing line business. However, neither me nor she has much knowledge about how to start a business. So, if anyone could help a bit, it would be really great.

Starting any business is always risky, especially if a person does not do all the necessary steps to make it a successful one (although it is rarely a guarantee). There are several really good guides on the internet you can use as a start, and after that move on if you feel like it. One of the best places is http://www.powerhomebiz.com/vol66/clothing.htm, where you will find lots of useful information. Also, one of the good places you might visit is www.entrepreneur.com where you will find some general tips on starting a business. It is certainly a great addition to the first site I mentioned. I think the two is enough for start. Best of luck.

I think it is all about preparation. You need to do a solid business plan and make sure the need and customer base is there.
