How complicated is invoice discounting?

Is there too much complication when it comes to invoice discounting? I would like to try this, but my older brother told me that it would take me too much time, that I’ll never be able to use it properly, and that, if you have not completely understood it, I’ll probably just lose money too, not just time. Well, I wonder if this is true. I think that, if it is too complicated, people wouldn’t use invoice discounting at all, and that’s not happening.

There is one truth in what your brother have told you, and I’m thinking about the money part. You will lose money if you get into this without previously taking care to understand all the terms and conditions under which you may do business this way. So, it is not complicated, but it is important to understand it well. It should not be a problem to anyone.
