How did bankruptcy effect your marriage?

| I am very near the edge of choosing a bankruptcy declaration. After several very unsuccessful business attempts and investments, I am now in deep trouble and don't see any other way out to be perfectly honest with you. The problem is that I think that it would have a very unpleasant effect on my marriage. Can others who have gone bankrupt tell me who this was for you? |

| Unfortunately I am pretty sure that bankruptcy has a negative effect on all marriages that are hit by it. Having no money is difficult enough, being under such tight control that you face when you are in the bankruptcy period is even worse. It leads to stress, loss of self worth, meaningless arguments... I know all about it, but I did survive, and so did my marriage! My advice? Fight for it, and just go on! |
