| While designing a logo you should also think about possible future uses of it. Suppose in the future you would want to give away some promo items like mugs, pens or t-shirts. You should design a logo that could fit on those and still looks good. The best way for designing is to have your logo designed in vector format (Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, etc). This file could then be used as a starting point for any other variation you might need. I personally would recommend hiring a professional graphic designer to design your corporate logo. A logo is an extremely valuable and important portion of your company's brand identity. You'll want to treat it as such. The needing software is expensive. Moreover, the learning curve is hard if you've had little or no experience with related products. |
