| I am interested in how do I start an affiliate program? It is been quite a while I am running a small home based business and since it has developed quite enough I thought of starting an affiliate program-I am selling actually home décor products along with my wife but the problem is that we are not all in this for the lack of time and the business has developed so practically we need some help in selling our products for us so I though maybe it would be a good idea of starting an affiliate program and I am curious how to start one. |

| Well there are many ways of starting an affiliate program and it all depends on what your goals are regarding your affiliate program-whether you want to pay them for just clicking the banners or selling the products and it also depends on what you sell and maybe you would also like some international affiliates also. Anyway starting an affiliate program is not that hard and I suppose you already have your web site for selling your products you may start your own affiliate program that is what I have done and I also have placed my banners and links on some other poplar sites –this is what could make you more visible to others and in this manner your sales could increase significantly. Anyway I also got installed specific scripts on my server and I am running it myself and if you decide to start affiliate program this way you should be ready to accept credit cards on-line over your personal account. Anyway I am now thinking of hiring some company to take care of all of this for me and I have heard that I may arrange this control of my affiliate program over some sites such as linkshare.com for a specific fee. Anyway if you don’t have your own merchant account you may go on clickbank.net and find out more on tracking your own affiliate sales for I know they also provide some payment facilities. |
