How do other students save money?

| Hi there. I am a student and although I have a part time job as a waiter in a restaurant I find that I am always short of money. How do other students save money, and where do they save most? I am really struggling to make ends meet and dont want to run to my dad for help every time, so your tips are more than welcome! |

| Hi, I am not very good with money and find I really have to watch what I spend. Most of the money goes towards little things that build up, such as a coffee you buy on campus or a coke and a magazine at the train station, and so on. To help myself cut these luxuries out, I now have a notebook in which I write down every time a buy something like that, and add up the costs to make sure I dont overspend. I find I am already saving 50 quid (!!!) in the first month I have been doing this. |
