How does debt management plan work?

| I have been a credit counseling and have been very satisfied so far. I think that the agency was very constructive and help me a lot in seeing the situation better, and working towards a solution. Now I need a debt management plan. Can you tell me how that works? |

| That is something they should have already told you at the credit counseling agency I think. But look at your debt management plan as a kind of personal budget – only for your debts It sets out when and how you will pay of your debts and if needed, the credit counseling agency can even negotiate with your creditors to bring down monthly repayments. |
