| Good afternoon. I am running my own business for couple of months and so far it is going well. However, I still have to decide what I am going to do with it. That is why I am interested in strategic planning. Can you tell me this: how important is strategic planning? What are necessary steps in that process? Thank you. |

| Hello to you too. The answer to your question is very simple and straight forward. Strategic planning is very important for every company. It is process of designing a way which one company will go. Mission, vision and goals are tools which make functioning of a business easier and more clear not just to the management, but to all stakeholders. There is couple of necessary steps involved in the process of strategic planning. First, you have to evaluate your current situation and all of its components. After that, you have to make a set of goals for your company. Finally, you think of a way how to achieve those goals. Now, there are variations. Some concepts include steps like planning and drawing of a strategy, but basically it is the same. Well, that would be all. I wish you all the best with your business. Bye! |
