| I just read this fascinating article about the history of non decimal currencies. Very interesting stuff, like I said! But I am now wondering if there are still any countries that use such currencies today? How many of them are there? Please get in touch with the answer if you know. |

| Funny you should ask this question. I just looked it up myself and as it happens there are very few. While there are more currencies whose basic units do not at all divide up, there are only two that use non decimal systems. These countries are Madagascar and Mauritania. I hope this helps. |
