| Recently my wife sign up for another credit card with MNBA and they asked her how many cards she had and if she had troubles in keeping up with her credit balances and payments. Is there any right number of credit cards we should have. Most people carry up to ten cards, some carry more. How many cards is to many? |

| How to say, theres no specific number on how many is enough. I heard of some cases that some people took out 50 CCs. Thats exaggerating, I must admit. It depends on how much you spend and how much you are able to pay off. I can recommend you to take between two and six cards and preferably Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover because they are acceptable everywhere so you wont need to open additional store cards unless you are discount addict. There is another rule that you should follow: keep credit purchases under 50 of your credit limit and if the purchase is near that limit better use two different credit cards. |
