How many days after the stock trade, a settlement happens?

| Can you tell me how long do I need to wait for a settlement after stock trade has taken place? I never expected that I have to wait for anything, but I guess I was wrong and I will actually have to wait for some days until this is done properly. I hope that you know how long this will take? |

| I am not sure that anyone can just give you some number and say that this is how long you will have e to wait until that settlement will take place after the stock traded was completed and over with. This actually depends on a lot of circumstances and one of the most important is that you have to realize that this process is not done on that same day, but there is a huge paperwork that goes behind all this and you have to be prepared to deal with all this. I hope that you don’t expect to get anything within a couple of days, because it can take up to a month. |
