How much damage is done after your debt was taken over by the collection agency?

| I have a serious problem and I could really all the help I can get. The fact is that my medical debt is taken over by the collection. Can you tell me how much damage is done after your debt is taken this way. Have you any knowledge about this matter? Thank you all. |

| Hi, I have to say that I have never been in a situation similar yours. I had some debts but with the help of my family I have manage to pay them. I think that a lot of damage is done after your debt is taken over. You have to think about ways you can find money to pay your debts. You can also try to negotiate with the collection agency if the debt is sold. |
