How much does the cheapest travel insurance cost?

| I have recently been thinking about traveling. I would go abroad and some people recommended me to get some traveler insurance. However, I am not sure what that exactly is and I am interested in one thing. How much does the cheapest travel insurance cost? If anyone can help that would be great. |

| Travel insurance, like any insurance, is designed to protect you from any unwanted incidents. That said, it is not mandatory if you are going on your own, but you have to be aware that any costs paid in foreign hospital can do you a lot of damage as they are pretty expensive. Any kind of travel really should be covered by insurance - a particular destination, a cruise, etc. If, for some reason, you left your country without travel insurance, I you can get a worldwide insurance which is as good as any. Prices are generally calculated by the type and the length of travel. They are usually relatively cheap, couple of tens of dollars, up to several hundreds.
