Q: I'm Nataly from Christchurch and I’ve finally decided to open a savings account in a nearby bank. I know that the best thing to do would be to open my account in a bank which offered best conditions. From the things friends have told me, I just understood that interest rates were enormously important.Like I have to be very careful about the yearly rates because they earn the money or something like that. How much is interest per year on a saving account? Thanks for your answers.

A: Hello, Nataly! It’s great to invest your money in something like that. To tell you the truth, there are many offers on the market regarding account. It all depends on the amount of money you have but also on the interest rates since they enlarge the sum on your account. I’d say that you shouldn’t accept anything less than 4%. I used savings’ calculator on the net because I didn’t want to lose my time in banks. Do a thorough research but don’t accept a lower rate than I’ve suggested.

it is best to ask your bank on how much is the interest per year of your account
you can ask for an APR i believe Smile
and you can also use online loan/savings calculators so you could experiment on the variables and see what deal is best for you Smile

Good Luck!
