| I have recently bought a second house and I am very satisified with it it. Now I would like to try and get a house insurance, but I am really not sure how much it costs, since it is still an empty house. Does anyone have any advice for me? Any kind of help would mean a lot. |

| As any kind of insurance, house insurance policy is there to protect you from any risk factors. However, you should know that the more risk you are, any insurance company will be more reluctant to give you a policy, or a good policy at least. Simply put, your risk is their risk. And they are rarely willing to take it. Now, there can be various risk factors when it comes to a house, from neighborhood appeal, to climate in the region, history of disasters, and similar. As you can see all these are not related to your living in the house. It is still lower than for regular house, and I suggest you go to http://www.portwood.co.uk/unoccupied-property-insurance.htm for more info. Best of luck. |
