| Hello. Could someone help me? I have recently inherited a large number of vintage dresses from my aunt, and most of them are in great condition. It seems to me that the best, and most profitable, thing would be for me to start a sort of web business with them, an on-line boutique. My idea is to start, in time, doing resale, and I need a few pointers. Thanks everyone |

| Firstly, I would like to say that is a great idea, and that is the best preparation you can have. It is true that it could prove to be a beginning of a steady business. However, it is not enough. The most important thing is to have good software support, and perhaps a person who knows about software at hand. You should also be aware that in the beginning you are going to depend on that person a lot, even though you may not be able to pay them. But, that arrangement (get friends to help, or promise them a cut in the profit later on) is up to you. After that, it is crucial to devise a good business model i.e. to think of a way how to attract customers. Good advertising or catchy domain name could do the trick. Wish you all the best! |
