| I have started working in a new job two weeks ago. I was really happy to get this particular job - the company is a prestigious one that I am very proud to work with. But the problem is with my direct colleagues, most of whom have been working there for a very long time, are not being very friendly. I in fact suspect that they are gossiping about my and see the way they are embarrassed when I walk into the staff room at lunch. How to deal with this? |

| You are neither the first nor the last to cope with such issues. I know it is not nice - trust me, I have been there too. But the best thing to do is to ignore their behaviour and to simply concentrate on doing your job the best you can. And be yourself. Chances are that it will just pass. You have only been there for two weeks and they perhaps feel threatened by them. Don't give in. |
