I recently lost my job. Because I have some savings in the bank I want to start my own business. My wife has a luxury boutique business and I am thinking about expanding it. However, I do not have many experiences in this line of work so I would need some advices from the others. Could anybody give me some advise how to do that?

You should follow several simple steps if you want to start a new or expand existing business. Expanding your business is not different. They all should be a parts of your business plan. You already determine what would you do and provide starting funds for doing that. That is the first step. Now you must find new potential customers. Then you must find a new, more suitable location for your business. That is one of the most important things, and you should pay a special attention to that step. When you find a location, you must prepare it for your business, and get needed equipment. Then you should get new employees if you need any. When you complete all this steps, you could start your business. Of course, one the most important thing for your business success is advertising. Therefore, you should pay special attention to that subject in every phase.

I think when you are looking to expand you need to look over your business plan and make sure you are still on the right track and this expansion can endure the test of time.
