| I was recently interviewed for a job at one prospective firm; they offered me good salary and besides that, they also offered me some stock options, and to be honest, I don’t know what this exactly means. Will I receive some stocks from the company and be able to sell them when I like or not? How could I know what my stock options are? |

| Many employees often offer stock options to their potential work force in order to lure talented employees. Stock option isn’t a stock but the possibility to buy them at a certain price. You will have the right to buy stocks at a standard price and sell them, but only if their value becomes higher. Selling process will go through your broker, at the market price. But, if their value is lower than market value, you won’t make any money. Basically, the idea of stock options is very good, and many employers made good money by selling them at the right price. |
