How to know what capital gains tax strategies I should apply?

| Capital gains tax must be just about the most dreaded tax around anywhere in this world! I have a second property which I am intending to sell in the long term. I will certainly have to pay capital gains tax on this property... or do I? How to know what capital gains tax strategies I should apply? |

| I am sorry mate, but there are only two certainties in life. Death and taxes. And capital gains tax is one tax that you will not be able to avoid paying. Unless you decide to go for some silly option like simply giving away your property to charity, but then you would be throwing the baby out with the bath water, I guess. |
