How can I protect myself from Internet order fraud? As I am into merchandizing business I am often not sure whether I am ordering from the real companies, or someone who wants to trick me somehow. I have heard so many terrifying stories, I wouldn’t like to become one of them . So what shall I do? Thanks a lot

Well, I really do not know what to tell you. I mean, I never made any purchase, because I have never know whom I am selling the data to. How do I know that that website is not phishing site, and that it wont steal my data and use it against me??? That is the reason I keep credit card only for the store where I am buying things, and never use it online. I know that in your work it is complicated, but maybe you should check things by phone also, when making a payment?

Unfortunately, this type of fraud is very often, so one must be very careful when doing it. As in a post above, I have never trusted online payments, but I understand it is necessity. The best thing you can do is not to pay when you notice something strange or suspicious. Also, it would be always best to cooperate with some well-known companies in your field, so that you avoid the risk. I do not know if there is another solution. Good luck man
