| How to sell advertising space for a print publication? I am running a referral program for people, which could bring in new advertisers for my publication. I offer potential referrals chance to win a free iPod. However, it has not drawn much traffic at all. I do not have much experience with referral programs. Is this not an effective way to run a referral program? |

| Implementing a truly effective referral program can be a complex and rather involved process. In addition, I personally do not think an iPod shuffle is so incentive to get so many people to provide their friends' email addresses. There are so many classified sites on the internet and I really do not know of too many of them having worked so well. Also, adwords and SEO may be helpful to you. iPod Shuffle is not able to increase your traffic if no one knows your business / website. So try to register your offer to more metacrawlers. That way you will increase number of visitors on your site and, hopefully, number of referrals. Hope this will help you. |
