| I have been with a bank for several years now, but soon I will be moving and I will need to switch a bank. Unfortunately I am really not sure what conditions exactly must be fulfilled before I do that. This will be the first time I am switching banks, so any info would be useful. Thanks in advance. |

The first thing you need to do is to open an account in your new bank before you close the old one. It is necessary because you will then be in position to continue with your payments without any problems. Also, if you have any outstanding expenses towards your former bank, be sure to settle it, as you will have much less difficulties later on. Another thing you should not miss is clearing out your safe deposit box, leaving your new phone and address to your former bank, and rearrange any automatic payments you maybe had there.
