| I have recently started working on my new business. I will first need to make a business plan. One of the things I still need to know is how to withdraw a verbal job offer. I made it to a person, but I have since found several better alternatives and now do not know how to sort that out. If anyone could tell me, that would be fantastic. Thanks in advance. |

| Even though it may not seem like much, verbal job offers is pretty big step for every company. It includes wages, bonuses, agreement upon a number of (almost all) relevant things regarding your employee's future job. Moreover, if the person you have offered a job to has already resigned, it can sue you for damages, which it will, and he/she will win, while you would lost a lot of money. I hope that is not the option. If it is, it is better to keep that person once the offer has been made, even if it is verbal. Legally speaking, there is nothing that binds you to give her a job prior to the signing of a contract. |
