| Hello, I’m Ben from New York. For the last couple of years, my own business has been doing fine. Nevertheless, I am thinking about making some major changes. I would like to grab one more important client for which I will need to write a new background of my company. Normally, I have had some new clients and I would like to include them in our history. I would like to know how you write it. Perhaps you have some better ideas. Thanks in advance. |

| Hello, Ben! I have to admit that I don’t have my own business but I have some experience in writing business letter, CVs and company backgrounds. I worked as a secretary a couple of years ago. You ought to include several things if you want to an effective company history. Basically, the first paragraph of every business plan represents an overview of what comes next. It is like a short version of the business plan. Thus, it is extremely important to do it properly since that is the first thing someone is going to see. Basically, you should write about your achievements so far and mention your clients. The more, the better. Furthermore, I would advise you to mention your reasons for getting into the business. Lots of my clients liked to know stories about it. Of course, you should end it with your plans for the future. |
