How wise is it to sell a house to repay debt?

| I am in a big problem. I have to repay a debt in a really short time. I don’t have the money and I don’t have anyone who could lend me that sum of money. The only thing I could do is to sell a house. Anyone got a better idea? |

| Selling the house is a really, really stupid idea. Have you lost your mind? Ok I understand your panic, but if you do so, you’ll certainly regret it. It seems like you haven’t said anyone about your problem and that’s bad. Ask for help from your friend and of course from a bank. There most be a solution better than selling the house. |
