| I have recently started thinking about advertising over the internet, since I am starting a new business, and I am aware that this is one of the most efficient methods. I would like to know what are the hybrid methods in web analytics, and if anyone could tell me more of it, I would be thankful. |

| Internet advertising is on the big rise in recent years, and it seems that the trend is not slowing down. As you can witness yourself, literally every site has some ads on their front page. Now, the web bugs are not at all uncommon but there is no real way to deal with it properly, because of morality and legality issues. There are better ways to see how a site visitor behaves, and web analytics are a good way to do it. The hybrid method is combination of log files, which lists concrete actions on a page, and page tagging, which actually gives a bit more complex image of user action. As both have their advantages, hybrid method is often pretty efficient. Best of luck. |
