| Six months ago I bought a house in the countryside. I fell in love with it at first sight and agreed to the sale without consulting anyone as to the structural integrity of the place. Now I have discovered there are many things wrong with the place. The walls are not even straight in some places. But I didnt know that at the time. What should I do now? |

| I am afraid there is not much you can do about this after you already completed the sale. I guess it is a big lesson for the future though. You should always get in building experts to tell you about the real condition of a house you are interested in buying and uncover any hidden problems. In this case it is already too late. You could sue the previous owner, but given the circumstances you wont have much success. It is your responsibility as the buyer to check the state the house is in. |
