I have recently seen that I have some unqoted shares and I know there are taxes to be paid on it. I would like some information about CGT I need to pay for it. If anyone could tell me anything useful about it, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Unqoted shares have certain value. When you trabsfer them as a gift to someone, for example. or after someone dies, there will be a tax infolved. The amount of it will depend on the share-value on the open market. CGT is among the taxes applicable to these shares, and it is counted for 755 of a complete value of it. I hope you find the information helpful. For some more info, go to http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/shareschemes/shares-valuation.htm#2.
