| My father left me a significant inheritance and I would like to know what taxes will do to it. He was not very loved by authorities and he had a plenty of legal actions which were directly or indirectly involving the property left to me as inheritance. Anyway, all that to say how I am a little skeptic when somebody says how taxes will not hurt that asset too much and that I can relax. What do you think? |

| As I remember, and I had a case in my own family, you can get rid of taxes, in this case – inheritance tax, if you are giving something to your marriage partner, but I don’t think that the same thing goes for children or any other legal relatives. Anyway, your father was supposed to tell you what to expect, it depends on what he had left to you and, definitely, problem arises if what you inherited is something that is already under question mark. |
