Hello everybody, I’m a bit embarrassed to say that my driving record is far away from clean, I had few accidents due to my drinking problem in last two years. Now it’s very difficult for me to find an insurer, at least a normal one, who would estimate complete situation thoroughly and who wouldn’t charge me abnormally. Will you advice me something?

| Hi, I’m in a similar situation as you are, only that my problem seems much more serious. I’m an alcoholic, I rarely drive, but I’ve got a car and sometimes, let’s say twice a week I use it for shorter destinations. Anyway, I still need car insurance. And what I hate most is situation, and it repeated many times, when I go to an insurer or to an insurance agency, when they find out my diving history, full of convictions collected during many years of unconscious behavior by the wheel, they reject me so easily as I’m just a garbage, not a man. Luckily, there’s a bunch of insurers nowadays who’ll sell you cheap insurance online, just surf for a while. |
