Investing equity in suppliers

| Can I get some thoughts from people with experience in equity investment please? I know that equity can be invested in any number of ways through the decision of companies, however I am wondering how wise these moves can be. Investing equity in suppliers, for instance? What do you think about that? |

| Of course this is a possibility, and a reasonably frequent one at that. What I think about it? Nothing in particular... It is something that happens, and I am fine with that. As a shareholder, I want to see profits, and in which way they appear is not all that important to me. |
