| I have heard that there is a theory that proves the irrelevance of dividend policy on the market. While I vaguely remember something about that - it is no more than that. If you know what this theory is called and where I can find more information about it, please drop me a line. |

| This is referred to as the perfect market view. In perfect capital market conditions, the dividend policy is irrelevant, according to the perfect market view. At the moment this is a widely accepted theory. You can find whole books about it if you want, which explain this in great detail. |
