| I went to my bank yesterday, and told them that I want to issue a VISA card. The clerk asked me if I want to open a VISA standard or VISA electron card. I didn't quite understand the difference between those two cards. I asked my friends but most of them didn't know what the difference is. My brother was the only one who knows at least what I was talking about. He told me that VISA electron is not accepted everywhere. Is that true? |

| I've used a visa electron card for the past five years. I've find it much easier to manage than a normal visa. Visa Electron looks like a normal Visa but with a chip and PIN code. One of the disadvantages of this card is that with a visa electron you are not untitled to any overdraft. The money you spend or withdraw is automatically withdrawn from your account. But also you want have bad surprises at the end of the month. If you want to purchase something just make sure you have enough money in your account or your transaction won't be accepted. It is widely accepted in shops but not everywhere. So my advice to you is to ask them if they except the electron card before you made a shopping. Otherwise you might come in the pretty embarrassing situation. |
