Is Investing in Gold always a good idea?

| Q: Hello, folks! It would really be great if someone could tell me if investing in gold is a good idea right now. Some guys at work have shown a great interest in the gold market. They mentioned something like it has never been a better moment to get into these investments than now! Imagine that! Well, I haven't inherited some great wealth; however, perhaps my savings would be enough to start investing in gold. Especially, since that's my daughter's favorite color. Thanx in advance! |

| A: Your colleagues are right, as far as I know. At the moment, investing in gold is definitely a "golden opportunity"! First of all, in this case, your investments won't depend on the inflation, as all other investments do. You'll be safe on that side. Secondly, I've read in the papers that the price of gold has reached the best price in the last 25 years!!! Also, they say that one can choose between several forms. There are bonds, coins and normally bars. You have really made this all too interesting. I've decided to invest some of my savings into gold. Thanks! So why think about it, just go for it like me! |
