| Hi everyone. I am going to move to England soon, and am learning English. I think that I am doing pretty well and I hope that I will get a job when I get there. Can you tell me if a senior manager is the same thing as a general manager, just so that I know, as I did see both of these words? |

| No of course not. A senior manager is a person with a management position high up in some company or organisation, whereas a general manager is a manger who is responsible for managing the company. These are two very different jobs. It also very much depends on the company how important such role actually is. |
