| I have been talking to some people that claim they use MA crosses to trade. They do not use any additional indicators at all. I am wondering if there are others who use MA crosses. If so what has been their success? Is anyone successfully using MA crosses to trade? I need some help please. |

| I also don't know if MA based entries makes trades successful, as opposed to ATR and intuition based exits. Think it over again. How could anybody test a method if exits are based on intuition? I absolutely agree that entries are as important as exits. After all your profit/loss is the difference between those two. I hope that nobody will not take my questions personally. I am just curious about that subject. Long time ago, I backtested a number of different MA based strategies. The results were not impressive. I was trying to backtest a purely mechanical system based on MA entries and exits. Introducing intuition into the game renders backtesting completely impossible. |
