| Yesterday I phoned my bank customer service for my credit card problem. Young man with strong india accent answered to me. I could barely manage to understand what he said. I wasn't been able to give up since my password was locked and I have to ask them to unlock it. After our and half and five more calls I get what I want. A friend told me that UK banks moved their call centers to India. And he told me that he heard in the news that on the competition for the bank with the best customer service in UK won the US Citibank. So what do you others think, is Citibank a good choice? |

| I already moved my current account in Citibank, and I am absolutely satisfied with the way they treat customers. The main reason for bad customer service in UK banks is that they want to cut their expenses. But, based on the people reactions I've heard, I'm sure that they will also greatly reduce the number of customers. All people agree that the Indian call centers are absolutely polite and absolutely useless. Yes, it is the true that, in the latest research about quality of the banking service, the top-scoring bank for overall customer services was the British division of US Citibank. They were in front of all natively UK banks, including Barclays, Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds TSB. So, if you want a good customer service go to the Citibank, they are a good choice. |
