Good morning people. My name is Anita and I would appreciate if you could tell me something about dresing code. I have just started to work for a company in which most employees dress in a casual way. I find that a little bit strange. Is dresing code individual for every company or it is established by law? Thank you.

Hello to you too Anita. Well, here is the thing. Dresing code is not established by law. There is no legal act which tells how employees of a company should dress. Instead of that, every company has its own policy when it comes to dresing code. It depends on job description and what business company is in. Some require strict business clothes, while others are more flexible. So usually every company has its own dresing code which employees follow. That would be all. Take care!

Hello Anita. Yes, like it was said, every company has its own dresing code. Sometimes it is logical that you will dress one way or the other according to the circumstances. I used to work for a company where we had one day in which we were allowed to wear casual clothes. I think it was Friday. Personally, I like when to atmosphere in a working place is a bit informal. So you can see yourself as a lucky one for working in such a “casual” environment.
