Is having more than one account legal? It is been for years I have this Barclays current account and the thing is that I recently started doing some freelance translation job and the employer asked me to get an account at some different bank. So I in fact would like to hear is it legal having more than one account? Thanks!
Sure it is legal; you may actually have as much accounts as you can afford it, though I would always prefer to get all my incomes or salary on one account. Anyway this is not always easy to arrange things this way so it often happens people have 2 0r 3 different accounts. Anyway if your credit score is ok you wont be having any problem opening some other account at a new bank but make sure you are regular with paying off with its interest rates even if your account is hold inactive.
