| My brother and I recently started to consider one of his better ideas; basically, he wants us to start paying off some of our debts. We received some money from our father last month, and at first we thought to travel somewhere, but then we realized that we should do something smarter with the money, like pay our debts. We would also like to invest a part of that money into some financial fund, but we need your advice about one thing: is it better to pay down or invest with lump sum? |

| It’s nice that you decided to pay some of your debts, but in your place, I would pay all of my debts in order to become debt free. Debts can often affect your life’s and even if you’re not aware of that right now, a day will come when you might regret decision you’re about to make. Anyway, if you decide to invest in a fund, I believe that it’s better to invest with lump sum; this will enable you to make some additional profit and continue to live as you lived before that money came to your hands. It’s better to invest in your future then to spend it now. |
