| Good morning people. I am very much interested in all of the fraudulent operations on the market, so it would be great if you could tell me something about bucket shops. What exactly are bucket shops? How they operate? Is it possible to deal with commodities on bucket shop? Thank you for your posts. |

| Hello to you too. I will try to give you an explanation of bucket shops as simple as possible. Basically, bucket shops are brokerage firms which make certain fraudulent transactions. They can do two things. First, they can sell securities which are underperforming using some aggressive marketing tactics. Other thing is that they can wait with the execution of transactions in order to achieve higher price and keep the difference for themselves. However, I don’t know if commodities are possible to deal with on bucket shops. There are many regulations which prevent bucket shops from operating and, therefore, making it illegal. That would be all from me. I am sorry if I haven’t been of much help. Good bye! |
