| Hello folks! I’d like to get a credit card because my monthly income can’t cover my living expenses and I have to buy some stuff and home appliances because I have recently moved to a new flat where I have only a bed and a few pieces of furniture. Unfortunately I don’t have a social security number. My question is whether I can get a credit card without a social security number. |

| I understand how you feel at the moment. We were all young and almost broke and we had to put up our families. I won’t get into the issue of why you don’t have a social security number but, I’d just like to suggest that you try and solve this business first. I don’t know whether banks allow people without a social security number to get a credit card because this number is a proof that you are the person you claim to be. I know that almost each bank or any other financial instituting requires its clients to have social security numbers. But, of course, maybe there are exceptions to this rule. I know that there is so-called ‘secured credit cards’ and I know that they are issued to people with awful credit history and to law offenders of some kind. Maybe you could try to obtain this kind of credit card. |
