Is it really safe to pay bills online?

| Hello everyone. I have been wanting to try to buy this stuff online but so far I have not really had enough confidence to do so. I have this theory that my money might disappear into cyber space and I will never see or hear from it again. Lots of people seem to be doing it though. If you are one of them please tell me - is it really safe to pay bills online? |

| Yes, I have never had any problems at least. The trick is of course to only use reliable companies to make payments. I have been buying in eBay through paypal for example, as well as on amazon.com and other reliable websites such as Apple computers where you can buy using your visa card. Not to speak of online banking which is more reliable then your alarm clock which wakes you up in the morning. |
