I need to renew my home isurance very soon. Out of pure curiosity I have been looking around the internet. I have seen some very cheap offfers. But I must say that I am a bit sceptical. I have never heard of these companies before. They are not banks or anything. And I am not sure if it is really safe to get an online home insurance. What can you tell me about this? Your help would be very welcome in this situation. Thanks in advance.
You don't say which companies you are talking about. This makes it a lot more difficult for anyone to advise you. The short answer is that some are safe, others are not. Sometimes other companies which you have never heard about can be extremely effective and offer excellent deals. Personally though, I have never used such a company. Whether you will, is your own choice. But check out the company before signing on the dotted line!
