I am thinking about buying a house. Actually it is swapping rather then buying. My friends godfather wants to swap the house with me. That is why I would like to know is stamp duty involved with house swap. Do you know anything about this matter? Thank you all for making a comment.

I think that stamp duty is involved with house swap. However I have to say that I do not have experience with this so I would recommend you to speak with your lawyer about it. Only then you will have most accurate information about it. It is always a smart move to consult with a professional before bringing the final decision.
